Spring has finally sprung! The Gardens in April 2013.

The first day of spring is one thing, and the first
spring day is another. The difference between them is
sometimes as great as a month.
After a particularly harsh Winter season this time around, the Gardens are now starting to display their beauty once again. Spring appears to have sprung with a vengeance, much to my relief as much anyone else's!

I hope you enjoy the photgraphs, and come to visit the gardens to see this beauty for yourself. No photograph can express the wonderful sights, sounds, smells, and peacefulness pervading this place right now.

  1. Beautiful photos Graham - can't believe the change since I visited a week or so back. So much colour appearing now as Spring catches up :)

    1. Thanks Caroline. It's hard to take bad photos when conditions are as good as this though. :)

Spring is my favourite season of the year, but it has made me wait for it this time around.

Having said that, Castle Bromwich is now bursting into blossom everywhere, the Gardens are lovely, and I'm suddenly feeling unreasonably optimistic about life. So something is going on! :)
